The following is a list of areas in GB (posted on behalf of Magnus who couldnt start a thread in this forum), showing which faction currently controls that area. It will be updated as things change. Comments are, of course, most welcome!

This list excludes all taverns, inns, other businesses. These, unless otherwise mentioned, are assumed to be under the control of their respective owners. Some areas are obviously easier to gain control over than others. Clearly if a faction spends most of it's time in a tavern then that tavern will become an almost de-facto base for that faction; the owner welcoming the regular protection it affords. Areas controlled by large factions such as the Guard or other guilds will be extremely difficult to gain influence over, though the difficulty varies with how established the guild or faction is. Whatever your intent within Manerous you should discuss your ambitions with a DM, feel free to talk to myself (Magnus), Blitz or any other DM you can get your hands on.

Please note while most of this list can change some areas are extremely difficult to gain influence over.

City Proper ? The Guard

Common Ward
Main Area- The Guard
Common Ward residential Area- Currently under dispute by West Slum Gang and East Slum Gang
East Slum- East Slum Gang
West Slum- West Slum Gang
North residential area- The Guard
City Aqueduct- Guard
Common Ward Gate- Guard

Main Gate
Main Area- The Guard
Stoneguard Alley- Stoneguards, obviously
Spillway- The Guard (not enforced)

Caravan Ward
Main area- The Guard
Dark Alley - Cove owner
Caravan Gate- The Guard

Dock Block
Main Area- The Guard
Merchant Docks- Blood Pact
City Docks- The Guard
Warehouse Quarter- The Merchant Guilds (subcontracting defence to mercenaries)

Sanctum Ward
Main Area- The Guard
Secured Area- No man's land (the rats)
Gray Wizard Conclave- The Gray Wizards

Shackles Block
Main Area- The Guard
Guard House- The Guard
City Court House- The Overlord
Detention Quater- The Guard
The Asylum- The Gray Wizards

Palace Block
Main Area- The Guard
Palace quarter- The Overlord
Palace Block Residential Area - Individual Residences

Panax Quater
Main Area- The Guard
The Holding House- The Overlord
The Musuem- The Overlord
The Library- Guild of Scribes, lead by Kei Kross

Faiths block
Main Area- The Guard

Hospice quarter
Main Area- The Guard
City Hospice- Ales
City Orphanage - Darens
The Street of the Gods- No man's land.

Temple Quater
Main Area- Temple of Manerous
Manerous Temple- Jarin Leonsen
Rear Crypts- Twitch

Surrounding Farmlands
Ostensibly these are controlled by various noblemen, but banditry is rife and tribes of Orcs and other such monsters are common dangers.
To the west Goblinoid armies control the caravan road. The east, immediately outside the fortifications of the city, are more Goblin groups, as well as a large Orc tribe in the foothills to the north of the eastern road. The eastern forest immediately outside the city is so infested with these creatures that the militia require a barricade and permanent barracks to be located between it and Manerous.

interesting list...now that that is publicity known (for the new players mostly), I wonder if anyone wants to attempt to take control of something? It would be interesting to watch a take over pan out, perhaps I will make an attempt at (fortunately for the city, Lyaree has no interest in the city other then visiting friends).
